By installing, accessing, or using the Recapt Chrome extension or website at getrecapt.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Recapt ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Recapt is a Chrome browser extension that provides AI-powered tools for YouTube videos, including:
The Service requires Google Chrome and an active internet connection. Recapt only operates on YouTube video pages and does not access any other websites or browser data.

The Free plan is available to all registered users at no cost, forever. Free plan includes:
The Pro plan is available as a paid subscription:
Pro plan includes all Free features plus unlimited AI summaries, unlimited Watch Guide, comment analysis, multi-language summaries, and priority support. A 7-day free trial is available exclusively on the Annual plan for new subscribers — no charge until the trial ends. The Monthly plan has no free trial and is charged immediately upon purchase.
We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our authorised payment processor. By purchasing a Pro subscription, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the applicable billing interval.
To manage your subscription, visit the Lemon Squeezy customer portal accessible from your account settings or via your subscription confirmation email.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

The Recapt extension, website, logo, and all associated software are owned by Recapt and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
AI-generated summaries are provided for your personal use. The underlying YouTube video content remains the property of the respective creators and YouTube.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete. AI summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Recapt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
The Service integrates with YouTube, Google OAuth, Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, and Google Gemini AI. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at contact@getrecapt.com. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

All sales are final. No refunds are issued on any plan. The Annual Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial so you can evaluate the service before being charged — cancel during the trial at no cost.
A 7-day free trial is available exclusively for new subscribers choosing the Annual Pro plan. During the trial period:
The Monthly Pro plan has no free trial. The monthly fee ($9.99) is charged immediately upon purchase.
Because Recapt is a digital subscription service with instant access upon purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable. This applies to both Monthly and Annual plans.
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. There is no free trial on the Monthly plan. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges, but no refund will be issued for the current billing period.
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the free trial period ends. New Annual subscribers receive a 7-day free trial during which no charge is made — this is your opportunity to evaluate the service before being billed. Once the trial ends and the annual fee ($59.88) is charged, no refunds will be issued.
For the avoidance of doubt, refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
If you have a billing question or believe you have been charged in error, contact us at contact@getrecapt.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider. We will investigate and respond within 2 business days. Unauthorised chargebacks may result in account suspension.
